AIRTEL TANZANIA ANNOUNCED ‘AY’ AS THE NEW AMBASSADOR

Airtel-Tanzania Public Relations Manager, Jackson Mbando (C) as he was announcing AY (on his R) to be a new 2012/2013 Airtel-Tanzania Ambassador.Speaking to media in Dar es Salaam, Airtel-Tanzania Public Relations Manager Jackson Mbando said the company has decided to work together with AY due to his history as the artist who works hard daily to achieve his goals nationally and internationally.
“We have signed an agreement with AY and he will be our Ambassador in 2012/2013. We have decided to do this as our efforts to be closer to Tanzanian artists and together we can help our society.”
Mbando said AY will participate in different social activities as scheduled by Airtel-Tanzania to support Tanzanians.AY replaces the position left over by another Bongo Flavour singer, Ali Kiba who was the Airtel-Tanzania Ambassador 2011/2012 and among the issues he did was to team up with other musicians from Africa and American Musician R. Kelly, in One8 Group which came out with the song, ‘Hands across the World.”
