Gareth Bale is already in Spain. The Welsh player landed at 13:00h at Malaga’s airport, near Marbella where he awaits to finish his move to Real Madrid once the final paperwork is done, as the white club hopes to make the signing official in the next few hours.
Bale arrived on a private jet, accompanied by his family and agent too. Tottenham Hotspurs boss Andre Villas-Boas had said Gareth Bale would not be playing in their Premier League game against Swansea on Sunday, and he was right. Bale, who apparently did not want to stay any longer in London, has packed his bags and flown to Spain.
Earlier today, images in the Spanish press appeared of the staging being prepared at the Santiago Bernabeu, ahead of the usual ceremony that accompanies the presentations of new stars. The signing is imminent.
There is report that the deal could be worth up to 85 million pounds for Tottenham, and Spurs will be looking to secure the deal as soon as possible to refill their transfer coffers with a week left to play in the market.
