Mandela alikuwa rais wa kwanza mzalendo wa Afrika Kusini.
Rais Jacob Zuma amesema kuwa wakati safari ndefu ya Mandela kuelekea uhuru imekwisha, raia wa Afrika Kusini wana jukumu la kuendeleza sera zake na urithi wake.
